Self-defence / No preparation needed

DefendU Greyman®

It is the mindset of a prepared person. A greyman does not look for conflict, does not try to impress and does not provoke — they observe, anticipate, avoid and respond. The goal is not to win a fight, but to get home safely. You do not need to be an athlete or train martial arts — it is enough that you want to be safer and learn to make the right decisions before a situation turns dangerous.

Blending into the crowd

You stand out a mile away.

Each of these things draws the eye. A greyman looks ordinary: they do the watching, not the other way round.

04Communication and de-escalation — how to set boundaries, speak firmly, avoid provoking and when to walk away
05Distance, movement and evacuation — using obstacles and leaving a dangerous place safely
06Everyday safety — car park, car, lift, stairwell, hotel, public transport, the way home
