Awareness
Read the space, the people and any change before it becomes a threat.

Community / urban awareness
Blend in.
Be ready.
The most effective advantage does not have to be visible. Awareness, discretion and skills stay with you.
Greyman is an approach in which safety starts with not standing out and reading your surroundings. Our courses teach self-defence in the city, urban survival and knife fighting — practically, in realistic scenarios, in Poznań.
02 / Mindset
03 / Foundation
Read the space, the people and any change before it becomes a threat.
Don't advertise what you can do. Keep your freedom of choice.
Make responsible decisions without unnecessary noise.
04 / Community
Grey Men brings together people who build awareness and responsibility without needing to build an image around their skills.
05 / Process
Read the rhythm of a place and notice change.
Separate signal from noise and keep your options open.
Choose the smallest action that works.

Every day
A greyman does not stand out in a crowd. They sit where they can see the entrance, know the way out and notice a change before others do.

1 / 4
White
Unaware. Phone, headphones, mind elsewhere. A threat takes you completely by surprise.
2 / 4
Yellow
Relaxed alertness. You know who is around you and where the exit is. No tension. This is where a Greyman lives every day.
3 / 4
Orange
A specific signal. Something doesn't fit. You observe and form a plan: what will you do if…
4 / 4
Red
Action. The plan is running: walk away, put up a barrier or defend. No hesitation.
Test yourself
You have a few seconds to memorise the photo. The image fades, comes back, and one detail is different. Point to it. Each round gives you less time. We do this exercise in our Greyman classes.
