Igor Barnaś — self-defence instructor, Poznań
Igor
Barnaś.
Instructor of the Defendu system. He turns years of training, courses and workshops in Poland and abroad into practical teaching of how to act under pressure.
Simplicity. Precision. Responsibility.
Igor Barnaś specialises in the Defendu system — a realistic self-defence method built on simplicity and effectiveness under threat. He teaches technique with an emphasis on using it in practice under stress.
He values discipline, responsibility and competence over show. His students build fitness, self-confidence, mental resilience and decision-making skills.
From close contact to close protection.
Black and green tactics
Close-quarters combat (CQB)
Self-defence tools
VIP protection and bodyguarding
Shooting courses
Handgun and long-gun work in dynamic conditions
In shooting courses he works on more than technique: decision-making, acting under time pressure, movement and teamwork all matter.
Bodyguard. Camp X.

Igor created Bodyguard, a training programme for close-protection officers that combines technical, tactical and mental preparation for the profession.

He also founded the Camp X training centre — a space for realistic tactical and shooting training. For years he taught at security-focused schools and military classes; his former students serve in the army, the police and the security sector.
Knowledge passed on.
The development of the Defendu system was shaped by cooperation and training with, among others, Major Arkadiusz Kups, Marcin Kossek, Sławomir Goździk, Leszek Starybrat and Matthew Temkin. Different experiences and perspectives on modern threats helped refine the method.
